This research is an interdisciplinary joint research collaboration with two other research labs. The study focus on the design that take the greatest advantage of UHPC and Additive Manufacturing technology, which is why the design of the table had to be so complicated and thin. The design had to be challenging to produce with traditional methods while remaining functional and feasible, and it had to be ornamental and performative. The qualitative factors were quantified by deconstructive analysis. This allowed us to do multi-objective-optimization with the help of a computer.
